Trip Log:
Vider DrivePal makes use of how smart your smart phone is, to automatically determines when you start and stop travelling on the road.
You can change your trip type immediately after a trip to select whether you were the driver, a passenger, cycling, or on public transport. You can even have a log of how many kilometres and hours you have spent on the road.
Immediate Driving Feedback:
Vider provides instant feedback from your driving. After each trip, view how the drive, ride, or commute scored, whether you’re the driver, or the passenger. View your overall trip score, your trips A to B points through maps view, and any driving events that occurred whilst on the road.
Drive Scoring:
Vider’s driver scores help you to quickly visualise if your driving is aggressive, moderate, or safe. Vider scores your driving performance by combining speed, aggressive driving behaviours, and driver distraction. Speed looks at the speed you are travelling versus the signposted speed limits on New Zealand roads. The core functionality of Vider’s aggressive driving behaviours includes whether you are accelerating too quickly, braking harshly, and going too fast around corners. Driver distraction looks at your mobile phone use during your driving trips.
Leader Board:
Vider’s leader board function allows drivers to compete against other Vider users. Top the leader board by getting top scores for safe driving, eco driving, and cost of ownership
Points Based Rewards:
Vider lets you earn Drive Coins every trip you take. The more distance travelled combined with safe and (economical) driving practices will earn you Drive Coins.
Eco Driving & Cost of Ownership:
Vider’s Eco Driving gives you a view on how economical your driving style is. Your Eco Driving score looks how your driving style affects your fuel consumption and the wear and tear on your brakes and tyres.
